Product DescriptionThis ultra-telephoto zoom lens covers a telephoto range up to 500mm and allows photographers to bring the subject close and short perspective. Sigma's original OS (Optical Stabilizer) function offers the use of shutter speeds approximately 4 stops slower. It is ideal for sports, wildlife and landscape photography with handheld shooting. Three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements provide excellent correction for chromatic aberration. This lens is equipped with a rear focus system that minimizes fluctuation of aberration caused by focusing. The super multi-layer lens coating reduces flare and ghosting. High image quality is assured throughout the entire zoom range. This lens incorporates HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor), which ensures a quiet and high-speed AF as well asfull-time manual focusing capability. Great Lens!
I just got this lens and shooting tests I did with other lenses I turned the TV on the pocket half block zoom in Photoshop, but I do not see the plate. Network clear, however, speak a bit 'more than I can read MT "under the logo. Clear as a bell.
This goal is much better in the 170-500 range, I use the lens of travel and wildlife need to take up to ISO 800-1600 Shutter Speed good and get a clear picture. But it sounds very good in some D300 images are better on the D200 is about the goal but not without it. This objective will help mitigate the problems.
I tend to buy a Nikon and Sigma lenses and instruments, including the 170-500 (which I bought for the trip and now I'm selling) is the only lens I find vary according to Nikon 70-300 VR. Nikon 80-400 VR focuses $[...] and slow and you can grow almost a difference of 100 mm (I try to be sure.).
I can not wait to use this with 1.4 Teleconverter. You lose focus and an automatic stop to go to 100mm 35mm equivalent, but are 1050 mm! Just $[...]!
very good goal. Zero, but spread rapidly changing autofocus tad off (a few pixels off 'TM' - and the camera can be adjusted.) Manual focus is difficult to lock the neck to move the ring development. Move your hand over the hand between the lens and the neck or collar. I focus on the viewfinder complete signal as a reference point. The finish is high quality. But a little 'strange. All targets, including the type of coating vacuum coating a flat black finish makes me think that stealth bomber.
I did much research for this and wait for the introduction of a second or more since last month. There is no equivalent without the need to buy Nikon AF / 4 400 mm CT - 17 to about $ 5,000, or if all the Nikon 500-600 mm is not bad price to buy m caught. After playing with this lens that I'm just glad I bought it. I'm strong and loyal Nikon good product but I probably bought this goal five times more if prices stay and help save all photographic tours and training 2 /.
Maybe a lot of testing and comparing this goal. None of this matters to me, tried a satellite color I did not know before today TM.
Edit 16/03/2009 - I just bought a Sigma 1.4 Teleconverter. This time with a combo I use the slower of the Trump Tower in Chicago to take to the 7th floor of the building is 1-1/2 miles Google Maps I see people waiting for the shooting. The next to arrive. I need to achieve the goal of building and reduce the helicopter in the frame. I do not autofocus. But the big question is not focused, manually or with a visual indication of focus. But I have to shoot through the window is pretty dirty and disturbing image is so bad, but I do not blame the lens, shooting better than no other.
Edit 3/18/10 - Trump Tower add images to product images.
